The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you buy items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff
$1,850.00Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service, arrangement conference with family and responsible parties, arrangements of funeral, preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits, recording vital statistics, preparation and placement of obituary notice, and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, (i,e. cemetery, crematory, vault companies and other as required). In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead and costs.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Embalming
$690.00
Except in certain special cases, law does not require embalming. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose arrangements that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. It is the policy of FONVILLE & DOVE MORTUARY to require embalming unless you select immediate burial or cremation.

Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home
With minimum shipping container: $1,650.00This charge includes basic services of funeral director and staff: a proportionate share of overheadcost: removal of remains: embalming or other preparation of remains, if relevant: and localtransportation. This charge does not include visitation rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding ofthe remains.

Receiving Remains from Another Funeral Home
$2,395.00Our charge includes; basic service of funeral director and staff, a proportionate share of overhead
cost, care of remains, visitation rites or ceremonies, limousine and coach, utility vehicle, cemetery equipment and home equipment.
Immediate Burial
$1,495 to $2,250.00This charge for immediate burial includes removal of remains, local transportation to thecemetery, necessary authorizations and basic services of funeral director and staff. This chargedoes not include the use of facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony, public or private,prior to burial. It is the policy of FONVILLE & DOVE MORTUARY, to require embalming ifother than immediate burial or cremation is selected.

Direct Cremation
$1,495.00 to $21,000.00The charge for a direct cremation includes removal of remains, local transportation tocrematory, necessary authorizations, and basic services of the staff. This charge does notinclude the crematory fee or the use of facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony,public or private price of the cremation.
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternativecontainers encase the body and can be made of material like fiberboard or compositionmaterial (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard.Note: Additional charges may apply for other services or merchandise selected by you.
